When you look at the screen all day long, it may cause a serious problem called digital eye strain. Figuring out how to protect your eyes, here are several ways you can follow.
Adjust the Screen Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the screen can reduce eye strain and fatigue. Make sure the screen is the brightest or the same as your surrounding workspace. You can place a lamp next to your computer if you think there is not enough light.
Blink More Often
When you start looking at the screen for a long period, you may forget to blink. This is a strange phenomenon, however, it happens. Blinking is important when we work on the computer. If your eyes are dry, blink more, blinking can moisten your eyes and prevent dryness.
Exercise Your Eyes
To reduce the risk of tiring your eyes by focusing on a screen for a long time, follow the “20-20-20 rule”. Rest your eyes every 20 minutes, look away from your computer at least every 20 minutes and look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Get up at least every 2 hours and take a 15-minute break. Looking far away allow your eyes to relax after staring at your computer screen.
