The iPhone 12 is officially announced and it was unveiled with the new iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max at the company’s virtual October event. All four phones have a new design, including new colors, and the rear camera, each phone’s internal power supply and other functions have various changes. Let’s see what we need to know.
Design and display
The iPhone 12 has an aluminum frame on the outside, and its edges don’t look as rounded as the previous iPhones-it is reminiscent of the iPhone 5S, not the iPhone 11 with rounded corners.
5G and specifications
Apple has confirmed that by 2020, all iPhone products will support 5G, allowing you to enjoy ultra-fast download and browsing speeds on your phone. iPhone 12 supports 5G, which means you will be able to connect to the next generation Internet from iPhone for the first time.
You won’t get a charging brick or a pair of Apple Earbuds (the small free earphones that come with the iPhone 12). Instead, the company only provides a USB-C-Lightning cable, which you will use to charge your phone. Therefore if you want to charge your phone, you need to use the existing charging bricks, buy them separately or use wireless charging.
